Negative thoughts plague is self-conscious and effect how we proceed throughout our days. To relieve the constant battle between my consciousness the idea for my video game was born. I am currently working on a project that utilizes video games as a medium to explore the relationship between negative thoughts and positive affirmations. The motive of the game is to fight your negative thoughts with positive affirmations. I completed three levels for game and I used gameroot to complete the project due to time restraints. The main goal is to face your negative thoughts and win by defeating them with affirmations. This will just serve as a mid semester update. I am currently working on my senior capstone project which will be a an interact environmental video game. The inspiration for the video game stems from the places i'v grow up in. In this project i would like to explore how an environment along with other factors can shape who we become. The game will be created in the unreal engine and models that I've made will be from Maya. The intended presentation of this project is April 12th and more pictures and updates will come as follows! As finals week has begun I am currently finishing up the final touches for my animation final to show case. I have been working on my character, schpla, for the last half of the semester to fine toon the details of the character and the moment they make. Below is one of the first cuts I've made for the character. I intend to later clean this animation up and add music to better engage with the audience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuyO9q7WB64 Hello all!
This is just a quick post to update on my progress regarding animation. vurrently we are working with 360 animation and the importance of key frames and frame rate below is my first atempt at 3g0 animation it is by no means perfect howeve this project helped reinstate the importance of frame rate and once again how meticulace animation as a profession is. I am currently in Tradigital Animation, an my first delve into 2D animation has been impactful. I've grown a new appreciation for the time and dedication it takes to make each and every frame. The programs i will be using primarily is Photoshop, illustrated, and adobe animate.
Below is my first animation of the key frames for my first project. I am currently taking programming classes that will better my understanding programming for games. My current project is a text based RPG/adventure game written in c and java. the current working title is wandering roads. and while this project is only in the beginning stages i believe it will grow to be a intriguing game and asset to the class. I am also in the process of finalizing my senior capstone, soon there will be updates on that project as well! Hello!
The spring 2018 semester has given me the privledge to explore diffrent avenues within my major and one of the avenues I explored this semster was my Minor at Tarleton State which is Film production. I got the opportunity to Direct Edit and produce My first film in Digital Video Production I and I also entered it into the Spring 2018, 13th annual Tarleton Film festival in which my film was one f the top contestors. I also enterd my film in too the another one called: Ocular Obstinance - a Tarleton student film & media festival Tarleton Art/Digital Media Studies, in collaboration with the Tarleton Student Film Club, presents a juried (competitive) student media festival, screening as a special public cinematic event in late August, 2018. I have High hopes for both my film as well as my Rube Goldberg animation I made in my animation I class, in the film festival. The journey of making a Film entirely by myself has taught me useful skill and Technics such as; In Editing, taking out unwanted noise and how o film a scene cut. In directing, getting my actor to preform in the way I saw would work for the film as well as Producing, and getting the necessary materials for the film (the budget for the the film was relatively low at $20) Overall I am happy with the turn out of the film and this film in its self inspires me to create more content films and arise awareness just like I believe this film does.
